The short version
We don't collect your personal information, we don't store videos on our servers, and we don't sell data to anyone. The only third-party service that may track you is Google AdSense, which serves ads to keep the site free.
What we do not collect
REDDITSAVE does not collect, store, or process any personally identifiable information. We don't ask you to create an account. We don't log the URLs you submit beyond what a standard web server keeps temporarily in memory to process your request. We don't store those URLs after your session ends.
Video content
When you submit a Reddit URL, our server contacts Reddit's infrastructure to fetch the video and audio streams, merges them into a single MP4, and streams that file directly to your browser. We do not cache or permanently store any video files. Temporary files used during the merge process are deleted automatically within minutes.
Google AdSense
We use Google AdSense to display ads on [REDDITSAVE.PICS]. Google may use cookies and similar technologies to show you personalized ads based on your browsing history across sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at adssettings.google.com, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. For more, see Google's Privacy Policy.
Google Analytics
We may use Google Analytics in the future to understand aggregate traffic patterns (pages visited, device types, general geography). If enabled, this data is anonymous and does not identify individual users. We will update this policy when Analytics is active.
Cookies
REDDITSAVE itself does not set any cookies. Any cookies present in your browser while using the site come from Google AdSense or other third-party services loaded on the page.
Third-party links
This site links to Reddit and may reference other external services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. Once you follow a link off REDDITSAVE, their policies apply.
Children
REDDITSAVE is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from minors.
Changes to this policy
If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of the page. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
